I want to buy a better home in a better neighborhood, increase my retirement funds and have my money working for me.

  • 1 month later...

I’m a single mom over 40. I want to invest because I definitely want time equity, to pay off my mortgage, and give more to my church/community.

  • 2 months later...

I am retired and want to move somewhere warmer.  I want to enjoy life with a bit more money to enable myself to do this

  • 1 year later...

I want to invest to become an investor, I want it to become my job, my hobby, my lifestyle, I love the thought of taking something and making a profit from it.

I want to be able to spend more time with my wife and kids working 2 jobs just to make end meet is not my passion.

i want to be able to help my mother who’s nearing retirement because my dad passed away and it’s all on me now.

1) Freedom, wake up god willing, and not worry about going to work, or calling in sick if I don't want to go

2) Buy what ever I want If I see something that I want' and buy it even If it's very expensive.

3) travel to someplace I haven't visited, or If my family need something they want and can't

afford then I could step in no worries.

My Goals and the reasons I want to invest are.:

1. To be able to take care my children in university Collage without borrowing so my children would be free from student loans.

2 To live a good and decent life with my family.

3 To be able to become financial freedom.

Hold on to that why.  If you want something different you have DO something different.  Take some simple steps- for example, commit to one-hour of learning, three-times a week.  Schedule it.  Protect it.  Prove it.  Let's do this, you have people counting on you.

Why do i want to invest?

I want to invest because, I want to become very wealthy. I want to travel the world with my family. I want my children to attend the best schools, and universities. I want to be able to purchase the beautiful home that I truly desire, and by the Lamborghini that I want to purchase.

#1- I want satisfaction ( personal and professional )

#2- I want financial comfort ( unlimited income potential)

#3- I want control ( of my time, future and health)

#4- I want to lead ( to guide on a way especially by going in advance )

#5- I want the life I designed.

@Dennis Those are very compelling why's.  They are not uncommon whys, so then the question become why doesn't every body achieve them?

Obviously there is a myriade of reasons, for the interest of our focus here, let's focus on the potential the stock market can have in enabling those goals.

Let me share some insights that I gained from my own experience and also in coaching others within PTU:

1. Initially your focus is on LEARNING not EARNING.  Become a wise steward of a small account and prove the principles and discipline and then increase the size of your trades to generate income.

2. It is going to be boring and probably take longer than you wish.  Like anything worthwhile, if it was easy everyone would do it.  There is a lot of work to be done before the harvest- tilling the soil, planting the seeds, nurturing the seed, waiting, and THEN harvesting.

3. Have fun and and be teachable.  The community here is amazing, add comments and ask questions, you can make a real connection here.  Celebrate each others successes and support others through their challenges.

Now, lets get to work and move forward in our whys!

I'm going to experience living in freedom of the debt that I now have.  I will experience the freedom of getting up in the am or pm and do what ever O feel because I'll be on my own time schedule.  I willbe able to do the things with my Great grand kids.  To watch them grow up with financial freedom that they deserve.  Wealth is around the corner for me and my family, for generations to come

I want to generate wealth for my family. I want to share the knowledge with my son, nieces and nephews, so their lives can be better than mine. Not that my life was so bad, but with unlimited funds, it could've been much better. I love helping others and spent 34 years working as a RN.

1.  First I want to always have a source of funds that I can create, I do believe that God will give me the power to create wealth.

2. I have always had a desire to own income property and can see how stock investments can produce the means to produce them.

3. I long to have the freedom to not be chained to 9 to 5 job.

4. I desire to share my investment knowledge with my children to show them additional ways to be financially independent.

5. My personal prayer is to never be broke, and never be a borrower only a lender.

6. I desire to know different strategies of investing  to always move with the markets.

My three reasons for wanting to start learning investing,

1. I want to get out of debt.

2. I want to retire my wife from her current job, so she can be home with our children, and be able to enjoy her life to the fullest without having to work very hard daily.

3. I want to travel around the world with my family, and give my children the experience of traveling around the world.
